Our sympathy to the family of Kevin W. McKay, 60, Wichita, who died April 3, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Tracy, daughter, Bailey and son, Reilly, parents, David and Mary McKay and brothers, David and Daniel. Prior to being principal at Apollo Elementary School in Goddard, he was the principal of Ellsworth Elementary School in Ellsworth. Services were held at First United Methodist Church in Wichita.

Guests of Al and Judy Hugh for Easter dinner were Mike, Susan and Shannon Keith, Carolyn Thompson and Ben Thompson.

County Commissioner Dennis Elias informed us that he recently attended a meeting about a new transmission line which will follow the McCracken-Liebenthal Road coming from the new Wind Turbine Field planned for the Brownell area. When the construction begins there may be delays on the McCracken-Liebenthal road. The line will be constructed with the large metal poles like those that already pass through Rush County south to north.

As an up-date, I didn't realize that there would be a fourth bin at the elevator. Our town is constantly changing even some of the empty houses are being filled by new residents.
